First Biblical Baptist Church, formerly known as First Haitian Baptist Church of Palmetto, was founded in 1990 under the leadership of Rev. Luc Francois and his wife Marie O. Francois. Its roots are from Cuba where Pastor Luc Francois was born on October 5, 1934. His Father Gelome Francois relocated to Haiti in 1960 and settling in the region of Les Irois. Past. Luc, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, decidedly moved to the United States to pave a better future for his wife and children.
